About Black Bear Grove

Hi, I’m Mechelle, the maker behind Black Bear Grove. This little grove of mine was born from a deep love for wandering the woods, breathing in crisp forest air, and sharing space with the quiet beauty of wildlife I have always enjoyed putting cameras out to see all the different wildlife and bears in particular came to capture my heart. There’s something about their strength and playfulness that’s always inspired me. That deep love for nature is the heart of everything I create.

But my passion doesn’t stop at the forest — I also love all things that smell amazing and feel even better. Creams, lotions, scrubs — anything that nourishes the skin and delights the senses. I wanted to bring those two loves together: the grounding beauty of nature and the joy of truly good skincare.

That’s how Black Bear Grove was born.

Each product is handcrafted in small batches with skin-loving butters, oils, and thoughtful scents that make you feel cared for. Whether it’s a creamy body butter, an exfoliating sugar scrub, or a relaxing shower steamer, everything is made with intention — and a little bit of wilderness magic.
